ABOUT ME
I am a filmmaker and media artist based in Berlin. My work lives in the tension between the whisper of personal stories and the complexities of human existence, weaving together social and existential threads into films and installations that feel both intimate and vast.
My journey began in Colombia and Brazil, where I earned my Bachelor's in Film Studies and directed my first fiction films. This early period included two collaborative feature films made with filmmakers from around the world: The Owner (2012) and Tain Station (2016), that last one earned awards such as Best Feature at the Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival.
Migrating to Europe, I expanded my practice into essay films and documentary in film and installation form. My essays emerge from fragments of life: images, sounds, and reflections gathered from people across all walks of life. I am currently finalizing my Master's in Editing at the Film University Konrad Wolf Babelsberg.
